CafeHop: Brunetti @ Tanglin mall

Cafe Hopping session with Wei from a long long time ago saw us visiting Brunetti Cafe at Tanglin Mall. Finally my turn to pay this place a visit after reading on so many reviews on its dessert menu and gelatos! Brunetti - an italian cafe in melbourne, is touted as one of the must go cafes when in Melbourne. Famed for its cakes, crepes, gelato, chocolate and coffee!

Brunetti has a relatively large floor space with both outdoor and indoor sitting areas! The brightly lit sitting areas and rows of delish desserts naturally just draws one to patronise the cafe. And well, since it was on a friday morning, the ambience of the place was just great for catching up with friends or for having the much needed "me" time over a cup of coffee (:!

The sight of these pastries, cakes and macarons are just too irresistable :D How good they taste? I'm not too sure but judging from the colours, well it should be good! Definitely will head back there for their desserts (: Wei and i ordered two main breakfast dish for sharing (everything on the menu sounds good!). We settled for their Roma buttermilk pancakes and Italian Farmer's breakfast.

Roma Buttermilk Pancakes!!!! At only $9.90, this is so worth it. The generous serving of bananas,  coupled with the right amount of fluffiness to the pancakes topped with maple syrup... (Oh God!) I am so coming back for this :D

Italian Farmer's Breakfast - scrambled egg on creamy polenta, sausage and truffles. At first sight, $11.90 for this isn't exactly worth it, simply because it really just looked like scrambled eggs! But don't be fooled...this dish will keep you wanting more. Plus i like the idea of how healthy it is (Heh polenta) but the truffle may have kinda tainted its healthiness LOL

xoxo ~
