Took some time off from studying to visit Sixty40 bar and cafe last Sunday! And i must say, their vanilla ice cream on thick toast with compote was AMAZING :D Well or at least that was what tiff and I thought ^^ There must be something about the toast that made me fall In love with it, I've always been a fan of "breakfast dessert" so anything that combines French toast vanilla ice cream and compote.... I will be up for it :D I must say such an item is pretty common find in cafes' menu, or at least the ones I've chanced upon so far. Most taste pretty decent ( I mean what can go wrong with that combination - savory and sweet, so delectable!!) yet this one in particular tasted different! There was something unique about the French toast heh! Others usually tasted a tad too eggy or you'll feel 'gelat' after a few mouth, but definitely not this one in my opinion (;
Sixty40 cafe and bar is located at rochester mall, just next to The Rotisserie and the formal Obolo. If I'm not wrong, Sixty40 bar and cafe has been there for quite a while, I must say it was a pleasant 'stumble' on this cafe last Sunday and I'm glad we gave it a shot. Have always wanted to try it whenever I went to celeb fitness:D Don't mind giving their dinner menu a try as well!
